Rial and Toman
first thing you should know before planning to visit Iran is about the currency of iran. Iran`s Currency is usually confusing for most tourists.
first: Rial is official currency in Iran.
second: you will see “Rial” on notes, coins, bank bills, ATM machine, Fare card reader, documents, official bills, or in any official money exchange.
third: but we always use “Toman” for daily payments. what happened? dont worry.
Fourth: What is the difference? one “0” Rial has one “0” more than Toman; its so easy. For example: 1000 Tomans is 10,000 Rials
yes: 100 Tomans =1000 Rials
